Battery maintenance
Due to the low outdoor temperature in winter, if the machine is parked outdoors for a short time, it is necessary to charge the battery regularly and measure the voltage value. Regularly wipe off the dust, oil, white powder and other dirt on the panel that may easily cause electric leakage.
Engine oil
When the machine is working in cold areas, the engine oil with higher grade should be replaced in winter. Due to the low temperature and high viscosity of the engine oil, it cannot be fully lubricated. For the south and other regions, the replacement shall be considered according to the local temperature. For regions such as the South, it is replaced according to the local temperature.
Belt maintenance
In winter, you have to check the belt of the excavator frequently. The belt slips or is too tight, which will cause the belt to wear.Prevent the fan belt and air conditioner belt from aging or breaking. Check the air conditioner to avoid faults.
Park correctly
After shutdown in winter, the engine should run at idle speed for 3 minutes before turning off the power. If you want to park the machine for a long time, it is necessary to discharge the water in the tank to prevent the water vapor in the fuel system from congealing into ice and blocking the pipeline. Do not carry water overnight.
Cooling system
Use long-lasting pure antifreeze in winter, and carry out regular maintenance in strict accordance with the regulations in the operation and maintenance manual. If the equipment needs to be parked for more than one month, it is necessary to ensure regular anti-rust operation.
Check the chassis
If the machine is parked for a long time in winter, the chassis should be checked regularly. Check the nuts, bolts, and pipes of the excavator chassis for looseness or pipe leakage. Grease lubrication and anti-corrosion of chassis lubrication points.
