Sizes of Concrete Mixer truck
Small concrete mixer are around 3-8 square meters. The larger ones range from 12 to 15 square meters. Generally the concrete mixer trucks used in the market are 12 square meters. Concrete mixer truck specifications are 3 cubic meters, 3.5 cubic meters, 4 cubic meters, 5 cubic meters, 6 cubic meters, 8 cubic meters, 9 cubic meters, 10 cubic meters, 12 cubic meters, 16 cubic meters, etc. The meaning of each model is different, mainly in terms of loading capacity, the volume of the mixer truck is a basic parameter, the larger the volume, the more concrete loaded, the more expensive the mixer truck.
Compositions of a concrete mixer truck
The concrete mixer truck is mainly composed of the chassis and the upper part, which can be simply divided into: chassis system, hydraulic transmission system, mixing tank, discharge system, cleaning system, subframe, operation system, pallet system, feeding system and circuit system. The front end of the mixing tank is coupled to the reducer and mounted on the front platform of the frame, and the rear end is supported by two pallets mounted on the back of the frame through the raceway.
1. Chassis system
The chassis system is the main component of the mixer truck, the whole concrete mixer truck transport function is realized by the chassis.
2. Hydraulic transmission system.
The engine power taken out by the power take-off is converted into hydraulic energy (displacement and pressure) and then outputted into mechanical energy (speed and torque) by the motor to provide power for the mixing cylinder rotation.
3. Mixing tank
The mixing cylinder is the key component of the whole mixing and transporting vehicle, it is the container for storing concrete and plays a decisive role in preventing concrete curing and segregation. There are blades inside the tank, which mainly play the role of mixing and guiding material.
4. Discharge system
Mainly composed of main discharge tank, secondary discharge tank, locking rod, etc. The secondary discharge tank plays the role of extending the length of the main discharge tank.
5. Cleaning system
The cleaning system is mainly composed of pressure water tank, water gun, water pipe, valve and so on. The main function is to rinse the hopper after loading and rinse the mixing drum and discharge chute after discharging to prevent the concrete from sticking.
6. Sub frame
The sub-frame of the mixer truck is the main load-bearing part, and almost all the loads are supported by it and then transferred to the chassis. The subframe also plays the role of relieving the road bumps and the impact load formed by deceleration. The entire subframe consists of the main beam, the front support frame and the back support frame.
7. Manipulation system
The operating system consists of the controller, linkage shaft, flexible shaft and linkage mechanism, which mainly controls the rotational speed and direction of rotation of the mixing drum.
8. Counter Wheel System
The rear part of the mixing tank is connected to the subframe, which mainly plays the role of supporting the drum body.
9. Feeding system
The feeding system mainly consists of feeding hopper and bracket, the feeding hopper is subject to large wear and tear due to impact, the material requires good abrasion resistance, and the bracket mainly plays the role of reducing the impact.
10. Circuit system
It mainly refers to the entire circuit of the mixer truck, including the tail light, side marker light, gallery light and cooling fan motor of the whole truck.
